Ours Blanc Hotel & Spa

The food was delicious, and there was a great atmosphere. Once we were done skiing, the sauna and hammam were just right for relaxing tired muscles. The rooms felt cozy, stylish, and comfortable. You can step straight onto the slopes and ski right back to the hotel at the end of the day. Such an easy, luxurious setup for skiers. The service was wonderful too, and we’d absolutely come back. ❄️⛷️

We loved having lunch on the terrace in the Alpine sun. There were cozy shared spaces as well, including a games room, a large library, and quiet spots for working, reading, or relaxing. In the evenings, live music or entertainment was often on, and we caught a magician show. Free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available around the clock, which was much appreciated after skiing. The ski-in, ski-out access made the holiday feel easy and relaxed. We could put on our skis right outside and return directly to the hotel. About 20 meters away, a bus stop gives easy access to larger ski areas or the main shopping gallery. The pool, sauna, and hammam were modern, clean, and enjoyable after a day on the mountain. Breakfast and dinner were generous buffets with plenty of variety and consistently good quality. The hotel felt new and well looked after, from the ski room to the rooms themselves. Housekeeping was reliable, and the little Christmas treats left in our room were a thoughtful touch. Everything was comfortable and well organized, and we’d happily return. If you’re traveling through Geneva Airport, leave extra time for the return trip, since traffic and airport crowds can be heavy.

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, informative, and spoke several languages. In the evenings, I’d recommend asking for the complimentary fondue and raclette service. The ski-in, ski-out access depends on recent snowfall. My one reservation was the indoor/outdoor pool, which felt notably cool. At other Alpine resorts with a similar, much warmer pool, it feels like a proper luxury. Here, it was more of a novelty you only try briefly.

Hotel Ours Blanc worked really well for our family. We stayed for a week, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to handle requests, including arranging a birthday cake. Everything was spotless. The location in Les Menuires suited a family ski trip: it’s central, but not right in the middle of town, so it was quiet at night. Ski-in, ski-out access was ideal, and their setup with the local rental shop made picking up and dropping off equipment hassle-free. Outside the hotel, the skiing was five star and, in our view, the best in Europe. We had an amazing trip and I’d highly recommend Hotel Ours Blanc. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable holiday.
