Rental Apartment OREE DES PISTES/45 - Les Menuires 1 bedroom 6 persons - POP 730

We've stayed here for years, but this time we booked elsewhere because the apartments have been getting much more run down. Some have been renovated, though plenty still haven't. The location is fantastic, with the option to ski almost straight into the apartment. There's a lift, parking and shops close by. The nearby swimming pool is cold and expensive. I'd still call it a very good apartment, 4/5, but it needs updating. Maybe we'll see if another place is better this year.

You can ski right back to the apartment, and the views are lovely. Nearly all the units have balconies. Inside, though, the four-person apartments are extremely cramped: once both trundle beds are pulled out, there's barely space for anything, even suitcases. One bed is in the bedroom, the other doubles as a sofa. The beds are uncomfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is fine, but we ran out of hot water in the middle of one shower. I'd probably stay again, though I'd also look at other options.

We arrived later than planned, but the staff were very helpful. They'd left everything in a safe outside, and sent a code by email or SMS so we could collect the envelope. The apartment was spotless, absolutely spotless. I've seen plenty of apartments, but this one really stood out. It's right by the slopes, with rental shops downstairs. Thank you! 😍😍😍

Right by the wellness spa, in the middle of the Bruyères district and at the foot of the slopes. It works perfectly for a winter or summer stay.
