We really liked the chalet’s renovation and tasteful decor, and the pool, sauna, and hammam were lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped, with things like a raclette grill and slicer. A few issues did get in the way, though. The internet was unreliable and extremely slow. Sending a Messenger message could take several dozen seconds, despite the listing advertising high-speed internet. The 4G/5G signal was also very weak, so I had to go to the Thônes municipal library to get my work done. The bedroom doors have old-fashioned metal locks that rub together noisily, and the doors creak loudly too. The racket woke people in the room and the neighboring room. You might want to bring some oil. The bathroom doors wouldn’t stay closed and could only be pushed open. One bathroom had a window with no glass or curtains, looking straight at the bedroom bed. There was also a drainage problem with the bathroom sink and the bathtub in one bedroom. Bring baking soda, perhaps. The gas stove was very good, but the oven’s top heating element seemed broken, so we couldn’t brown or gratin dishes.

We had such a wonderful week at Chalet l'Adroit. The view is something you’ll have to see for yourself. There’s a pool, hammam, sauna, and five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. An extraordinary chalet in an exceptional location. Truly magnificent, nothing to complain about. I recommend it.

The chalet was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We spent a lovely week there with family, in a quiet spot with beautiful scenery. After a day on the slopes, the pool, hammam, and sauna felt like a real luxury. Thanks to the owner for being so welcoming. We’d recommend it and hope to come back.
