Camping Le Champ Du Moulin

We stayed here in March 2024 in our motorhome for skiing and have just booked to return for the 24/25 season. The flat, wide pitches were ideal, the welcome was friendly, and the night was peaceful so we slept well. The facilities block was clean and spacious. It's a short walk to the gondola, and we booked lockers in the village so we didn't have to haul our ski gear. Looking forward to coming back.

The campsite is in a spectacular spot, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and right beside a crystal-clear river. We've stayed here several times for skiing and love it. The ski lift to Les Deux Alpes is five minutes away on foot, and since the site sits much lower than the slopes, you don't have to drive up icy, narrow roads to reach it. There are great hikes nearby and incredible birdlife. The washrooms and showers always have very hot water. There's also a useful drying room and washing machine. Stephanie cooks great homemade meals with local produce at the on-site restaurant.

It's a good campsite, very close to the cable car to Les Deux Alpes. The bar and restaurant's dishes of the day are simply delicious, so give them a try if you can. The only problem we had was the bathroom closure for cleaning from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning. During that hour, only a few toilets and one sink were available.

A family-run campground with wonderful hosts and a really good atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommended.
