Odalys Chalet Le Ponton

The pool was great, and the new conservatory is lovely. The chalet sits in a magnificent spot with a breathtaking view, and someone has clearly made an effort with parts of the place. The living room and kitchen are very nice, though the interior is otherwise average and the bedrooms need updating. There are several problems: the bathroom leaks, some doors don't shut properly, an outlet is pulling away from the wall, and the mattress is getting old. The terrace is the worst of it, with broken, uneven boards that make it downright dangerous, like a skatepark. The table and benches out there feel unsafe to sit on, as if you might fall through. I don't understand why they're still there. The terrace and its furniture are unacceptable and need attention.

The house is in a good location, and the rooms are spacious with showers. The children's pool was nice too. We did have a few issues, including a bedroom leak, broken lights, and a sauna with no power. They were eventually fixed, thankfully.
