We had two excellent dinners and breakfasts, with superb food throughout. This fabulous boutique hotel also has friendly, efficient staff, a very comfortable, well-appointed room, and a lovely big garden that was great for our dog. Highly recommended!

The meal started well: we were greeted warmly, and both the décor and atmosphere were lovely. The food itself was good, but we were pushed through our first course while I was still enjoying its flavours. We felt hounded to move on, and the next course arrived too quickly. At €78 for that first course, I felt we should have had time to savour it. We raised this politely, but were told the next course was ready. That wasn’t acceptable and spoiled the meal. The service felt far too demanding, and even the person in charge of service didn’t seem to understand or care when we spoke to him afterwards. He also showed no interest in the fact that we were locals. I left feeling unwelcome and wouldn’t return. For two people, three mains, and a bottle of wine, we paid €161. It was very expensive, and we were treated awfully.

The restaurant was divine, with an extensive wine cellar. We ate there twice, and both meals were fresh, full of flavour, and imaginative without being gimmicky. Our room was spotless and well equipped, and the beds were comfortable with good linens. Service was attentive, polite, and quick throughout our 2 nights at this comfortable hotel during a bike tour. The lovely garden has lots of amenities, and there was a handwritten note waiting for us, a lovely touch. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return. One small improvement would be a heavier curtain to keep out the outdoor lighting. Thanks to the wonderful staff 🧡 Tip: request a room facing the garden for the view.

The staff were amazing, and we had an exceptional meal at this tremendous hotel and restaurant. It’s set in a beautiful spot just outside Les Eyzies de Tayac, a great town for immersing yourself in prehistory.

The breakfast was wonderful, with everything fresh, and the coffee was the best I’ve had so far on vacation, the god of coffee must have blessed them. My room was a nice size, clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the beds were comfortable too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed another day.
