The location was lovely, and so was the house.

The setting is beautiful, with a landscaped campsite, lovely surroundings, and a forest right off the grounds. I enjoyed looking for mushrooms there and found plenty. The cottages have two rooms and beds for 2+2, plus a great terrace, though the kitchen facilities are poor. The interiors are impressive all the same. It’s a good place to disappear for a few days of recreation, but living here would be miserable as a lifestyle. There’s no phone signal or nearby shop, and the local roads are bad. It feels very rural, with a farm behind a farm. Great for a weekend or a 3-4 day getaway in France, but I wouldn’t come back unless I had to.

The managers are really friendly and helpful. The houses are beautiful, all with big gardens, and some have swimming pools. A few also have lovely views over the golf course.
