Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte, La Tapiaz & SPA, The Originals Relais

We'd definitely come back. The hotel is right in the town center and directly on the piste, and the service was excellent throughout. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, with a special thank you to Sam and Gais for going out of their way to make us comfortable. After a long day on the slopes, the clean, relaxing, well-kept spa was a lovely place to unwind. We had a wonderful stay and can't recommend it enough.

We've been visiting Les Gets for years and had often eaten at the hotel's restaurants and bar, but this was our first week staying there. The rooms were beautiful and roomy, and we made good use of the large pool, spa, games room, restaurants and bar. Everyone on staff was helpful. A special mention for the English woman at reception, who speaks fluent French and was exceptionally friendly and helpful the whole time. I'll have no hesitation booking again.

It looks nice, but the service was poor and this was a bad experience. We won't be back. Our room was very dated and needs refurbishing. It faced the front with a great view, but the noise made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. I told staff, but nobody offered to move us to a quieter part of the hotel. The woman at the bar and the young man on reception were nice. The rest of the staff were rude, miserable and unhelpful. One man spoke aggressively to my son and was very mean. Everything seemed like too much trouble. The rooms weren't restocked, so I had to get milk, tea and coffee myself in the mornings. There were no towels at the swimming pool either. Service was lacking everywhere. When I asked for the GM, I was told they were on holiday. I then asked to speak to management, but had no luck.

We really enjoyed the cozy bar and how close it is to the slopes. The chair lift is only a few steps away, which is a bonus in ski boots! Staff were attentive, the rooms were nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. We also had a brilliant complimentary ski day with Lionel, the professional ski guide, and Pascal from the hotel. They took us on a ski tour to Avoriaz. Thank you!
