Getting out of the buildings wasn’t clearly signposted, and the place is inaccessible for disabled people. From the upper floors, you depend on a cable car, and it’s often out of service. Security also seemed very questionable. On the upside, the view is great, and the city center is close, with a free shuttle right outside the gate.

Getting to most of the apartments by cable car makes this a rather unusual place to stay. The building is showing its age, but the apartments are pleasant, and I had a nice view. Prices are affordable for a resort like Les Gets, which isn’t really low cost. On my second stay, though, the cable car was out of order for the whole week. Carrying big bags up to the fifth floor wasn’t very practical. I feel for anyone staying in the buildings above.

It’s a lovely, very quiet residence, about a five-minute walk from the town center. We could leave the car in the garage and get around on foot. There’s a view of the ski slopes from the residence, and a shuttle bus right outside if we wanted to use it.

The apartment was bright and well equipped, with a nice view. The owners were friendly, and it’s around a 10-minute walk to the Chavannes cable car departure point, so not far from the center.
