Hôtel La Grande Lanière

The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. They were friendly, accommodating and the hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Patricia, who manages the restaurant attached to the hotel, was especially great. She looked after us all evening, then helped us get a delicious lunch the next day when we were in a rush to catch our bus. We still had plenty of time to spare. I’d love to stay again, and I’ll definitely come back for dinner even if I don’t.

We only stayed one night, but we’ll be back. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the hotel is right on the slopes. The restaurant served tasty food with a real mountain feel. Staff at both reception and the restaurant were super friendly and professional.

The rooms aren’t very big, but they’re comfortable and very clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast, the sunny outdoor terrace and the restaurant and bar. The hotel is in a great spot, with a ski lift right outside and ski rental around the corner. There’s a free bus to the village every 30 minutes, and the ride takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is fully ski in, ski out, with a piste and the turche drag lift right outside its terrace. It may not seem close to town, but the free bus makes getting there easy. Service was fantastic throughout, and the staff went out of their way to help with everything we asked. The food was delicious, too.
