Chalethotel Belle Etoile by Skinetworks

For what we paid, this stay was absolutely not worth it. We were there for Tomorrowland Winter and paid €1,750 per person for a basic double room with breakfast. The room had no storage, and it wasn't cleaned at all during the week. There's a ski equipment area by the entrance, but it has no lockers, and the main entrance door isn't even locked at night. That felt especially worrying with so many drunk guests around and no staff available to help in an emergency. We lost our room keys at 2 a.m. and couldn't get help from the hotel because nobody was there. We tried repeatedly to reach the staff, and even the Tomorrowland emergency number tried. We waited two hours for a response, but none came. Luckily, we found the keys in Tomorrowland's lost and found the next morning. The phone number on our confirmation voucher never worked, and there was no other way to contact staff. Maybe it would be a decent hotel at €60 a night, but not at the price we paid.

A lovely valley view and an excellent breakfast make this a good, simple, efficient place to stay. The staff are warm and attentive, with some thoughtful little touches.

The service was really good, and everyone was lovely and chatty. We stayed here for a family ski trip and all thought it was a nice place with very good food. The rooms were a little small, and the bathrooms could have been larger, though to me that added a bit of character.

Gillian and Tom, an Australian couple, run this cozy little hotel near the lift. They and the staff were very polite and looked after us well. The three-course dinners were delicious, and breakfast was a decent buffet. Our room was small, with a bathroom and balcony, but that matched what we expected from the price and the Danski website photos.
