The food was a highlight, with a half-board menu that felt nicely balanced, and we loved having après-ski cocktails on the sunny terrace. The lift is literally across the road, just a very short walk away. This is a small, cosy and welcoming hotel, with a friendly team and great service. We’ve just got back from a wonderful stay and would book again without hesitation.

We spent two weeks biking around the Alps and were really happy here. The staff, location, and food were all great, and the place has a warm, homey feel you don’t often get in hotels. The old door locks were a hassle, and the shower was small, but those were the main drawbacks. We’ll be back this summer!

The underground bar had a great atmosphere and some really good cocktails, and the skiing was absolutely awesome. I’ve stayed here twice for a “gents ski weekend” and had a great time both times. It’s very good value, with friendly service. The food is okay, the wine is good, and the barmaid is generous. Rooms are basic and could use a spruce-up, but at this price I can’t really complain. Would I come back? Definitely.

We were here for four nights during a music festival, staying with a couple of friends. Jo and Daisy helped make the trip superb. Breakfast and dinner came with our lodging package, and every meal was delicious. Our room was clean, quaint, and quiet.

I found the Hotel Le Chamois open in late summer while on a road bike tour through the Alps, when few places were open. It’s very well placed for cyclists, close to the finish of the famous climb. The host was friendly, the atmosphere quiet, and the rooms were nice, with lots of wood. Breakfast was good too. I’d happily recommend it.
