The rooms were excellent, the staff were really friendly, and the location was good. I stayed here with crystal. Dinner was a letdown for me as a vegetarian. The menu was the same every day, with lentil dahl as the only vegetarian main. Sometimes I could make a vegetarian meal from the specials board by asking for the meat to be left off, but by the end of the week I was bored with the food. It wasn’t what I wanted on holiday. It would be even harder if I were vegan or lactose intolerant. These days, I think catering for common dietary needs should be basic. An extra ratatouille or savoury crepe would have made a big difference.

We were here for a Crystal ski holiday, and the restaurant and Reception staff made a real impression on us. They were warm, courteous, professional, and accommodating, and seemed ready to do anything for us. Thank you to all the staff here (all French). I hope you’re paid well! 😄 The restaurant food was excellent too, much better than we expected. Our family room for four was pretty tiny, but we didn’t mind for a week because the service more than made up for it.
We paid 50euros for two people to use the spa for an hour as outside guests. The website showed lots of pool photos and made the place look great, but there’s no access to the pool. Instead, you get a very small jacuzzi in a plain little room, and its jets barely have any power. You’d be just as well off taking a warm bath in your room, which might even feel more inviting. It’s a squeeze for more than two people, so if it’s busy, you may not get in. There’s also a sauna and steam room, but no proper changing room. We had to get ready in a smelly toilet behind reception. There are no lockers for valuables, and no hairdryers either, which was disappointing since we were heading straight out to dinner. Possibly the worst spa I’ve been to. Don’t be fooled by the website!
The hotel's location was a plus, with a great view and easy access to the ski lift. Room service was excellent, and breakfast was basic but acceptable. The rooms were generally satisfactory, though the carpet stains made me question its cleanliness. The pool was cold and looked unclean, and the pool room smelled moldy. The sauna also costs an extra 20€ per person. These issues affected the stay, and fixing them could improve guests' experience and the hotel's reputation.
We had a spacious family room with nice decor and a comfortable bed, though some of the pillows were lumpy. The bathroom was very nice. We did have a night without hot water, but after we reported it, the problem was fixed. There was a TV, but we couldn’t find any English-language channels. It’s handy for bars, restaurants, and shops, which also meant plenty of street noise late into the night as people left the bars and clubs. The walk to the ski lifts was fair, not the worst I’ve had, but not especially short. The ski lockers were roomy and had boot heaters. Breakfast was good, with a decent buffet, plus omelettes, other eggs, and crepes made to order. Sometimes the chef wasn’t at the station, so we had to wait or ask someone. The staff were helpful and it’s a nice hotel. A few easy changes could improve the things I mentioned.
