Odalys Chalet Nuance de bleu

The chalet has a nice view and a jacuzzi, and the beds were fine. But the kitchen and bathrooms were poorly equipped, and the couch and chairs could use cushions to make them more comfortable. We decided to clean the place ourselves to avoid the hefty 150 euro cleaning fee. That was difficult without cleaning supplies, and the only vacuum cleaner was broken. When the owner checked the chalet, they decided it wasn't clean enough and charged us 150 euro anyway, despite our efforts to get it as clean as we could. There was no room to negotiate, and it left us feeling ripped off, almost like a scam.

The accommodation itself was decent, which made the choice of adjacent guests all the more disappointing. We felt wedged between stag weekends. Completely unacceptable.

The chalet is magnificent, very spacious and sleeps 10, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, five toilets, a sauna and jacuzzi. The free cable car to Alpe d'Huez is just a two-minute walk away. The one downside is that it feels dark and doesn't get much natural light.

There was plenty of room, and the apartment felt clean, modern, and very well equipped. Having so many bathrooms was especially useful with several children of the same age. The garden, though, wasn't being looked after during our stay. That was really frustrating and took a lot away from the great first impression we had when we arrived.
