Le Gîte Egyptien

The pool was a great fit for our group of 13, and we also had pétanque and foosball, so there was plenty for a family get-together. We brought everyone together for our daughter's 20th birthday and loved the beautiful, shady, peaceful grounds and the very cool cottages. Jonathan and Amandine were flexible about when we arrived and left, and Jonathan was a big help with our questions and arrangements. The one drawback over the weekend was that some of the other rooms didn't have air conditioning. Thanks for such a fantastic welcome.

The real draw was how peaceful the property felt, with its swimming pool and a lovely setting for a break while exploring the Drôme. We stayed a few days at Château des Estubiers, where the hosts were incredibly welcoming and happy to offer advice on sightseeing, hiking, and buying from local producers. The house is superb, with several well-equipped cottages, each with its own outdoor space. We highly recommend it for a visit to the Drôme.

The Africa room was beautiful, and the pool was magnificent. I stayed with my husband and our 3-year-old son in this sublime spot surrounded by greenery. The owners were welcoming and caring, and I’ll remember those lovely moments at the Chateau des Estubiers, especially starting the day with the delicious smell of breakfast.

Everything felt perfect, and the hosts were helpful, attentive, and generous. It's somewhere you have to experience at least once in your life.
