We loved our overnight stay and would happily come back. The meals were delicious and generous, and our welcoming host kept us entertained with stories and anecdotes. We could have listened for hours. The castle itself is magnificent, with so much history and beautiful surroundings.

The bedroom had a bathroom fit for a king, and in this real castle you feel like a duke and duchess for a day. If castles are your thing, the kind host, his stories, and especially dinner make for a magnificent experience. Thank you Frédéric for making New Year’s Eve perfect for my husband and me. We’ll be back!

You’re the only guest, with one room for a guest or a couple, and that makes the stay feel like stepping into life in a small castle. The owner becomes your historical guide, taking you through the castle’s past and making you part of a journey through time. Dinner is part of it too, with excellent quality and a taste that feels unique to the palate. A “butler” serves a hearty, exquisite meal. There’s much more to the stay than just the accommodation, and it’s a rich, beautiful experience. I won’t give it all away.
