The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful grounds and a heated pool in picturesque surroundings. Inside, the chateau has so much authentic charm and history, and it’s just perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the sun loungers by the pool. Gerard was an incredibly friendly host and welcomed us into his home with open arms. He answered every question and met every request. I’ve stayed at many five-star properties around the world, and this met my expectations with a little extra hug. Writing this as we wind down for the night because I couldn’t wait to leave such a stellar review. We’ll be back, and I’d highly recommend it 😊

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a friend’s wedding nearby and had a wonderful time. The interiors are beautiful, and it felt like a quintessential French experience. Gerard is quite the chef and host, so be sure to book dinner with him. He even offered to drive us to the wedding venue so we wouldn’t need to take a taxi or drive ourselves. Thoroughly recommend.

Time seems to stop for a weekend here. The host is always around to make you feel comfortable in every corner of this magnificently decorated mansion. He takes time to chat with guests and invites them to a really pleasant aperitif. If it’s cold, there’s a fireplace to enjoy in one of the living rooms. Definitely a place to come back to.
