Villa Métis

The woman who served us was lovely and had a gentle touch. We came for lunch with our kids and friends, and they welcomed us and set us up in the garden. The food was good, especially the menu of the day. My one disappointment was the kids' menu: they only offered the adult meal in a smaller portion for 20€, which is excessive.

We only had one night at Villa Metis, which felt far too short. The breakfast prepared for us before we left was excellent, and we would have loved another meal at the restaurant. We also enjoyed a stroll through the beautiful, well-kept gardens, where our dog could sniff around. The chef even grows produce and herbs in a little cottage garden. The restaurant was excellent. The chef clearly has talent and enjoys putting lovely flavours together. The Tataki de boeuf and Pêche du moment were a delight, and it was lovely to learn that our wine came from the owners' grandfather's vineyard in Burgundy. There are local products too, including beer, and a good choice of coffee after the meal. The young couple who now own Villa Metis have created a beautiful setting. Everything, from the rooms and restaurant to the gardens, is stylish and thoughtfully done. When our dog wouldn't climb the stairs, the owner happily arranged a room change. We got to see more than one room, and both were beautiful, well-designed, nicely decorated, and functional. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble during our short stay, and we'd gladly recommend Villa Metis to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable hotel.

The restaurant has a lovely view and the option to eat outside. There's a good selection of local products, including beer, and plenty of coffee choices after the meal. Our waitress, who served us at our table, was friendly and professional. The supper menu was unexpectedly delicious. The owner of a fish restaurant that was closed on Sunday had recommended it, and the chef's special dishes were well chosen and much appreciated by my husband and me. My husband is a retired chef and hotel school teacher. It's worth taking a small detour for this gastronomic meal, with its special touch and very good value. Thanks to everyone who made our evening pleasant.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the location is perfect. The hotel itself was super nice and clean, with a lovely ambience. The restaurant felt cosy and the food was good. I really recommend this hotel!
