Le Hameau De Pierre Blanche

The spa and pool were lovely, never too crowded, and everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful. There’s fresh bakery service each morning, plus a few drinks to choose from at reception. The homely chalets are beautiful and close to the ski lifts, while still feeling peaceful. We arrived before check-in and knew we’d have to wait because we hadn’t paid for early access. Even an hour after check-in, our room wasn’t ready. Fred, the manager, and his team took charge: they upgraded us for free, carried all our bags, and gave us a bottle of wine. We’d just come back from our stay and will certainly return. Thanks for a great visit.

The manager, Freddy, went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax. We also loved the spa, especially the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and Hammam. There are wonderful views of Mont Blanc, and it’s easy to reach Chamonix, the ski areas, and hiking spots.

The views, location, and comfortable decor were all lovely, but several things made the stay frustrating. There was almost no hot water for my entire visit, and the sauna was only lukewarm. The fitness room has weights, though its bench press felt unstable. The Wi-Fi was notoriously poor, with 1990s-like speeds. It kept dropping, used up my data, and was only accessible downstairs.

We’ve spent our winter holiday at Hameau de Pierre Blanche for six years now with our three kids, and each visit has been even better than the last. The apartments are comfortable, the staff are lovely, and being so close to the ski lifts is really handy. The swimming pool is nice, and the masseuse is great. Special thanks to Freddy, the thoughtful manager who wants his guests to be happy and have a great time. We’ll be back next year as usual! Famille Dassant
