Even with half the attractions shut at the end of September, we had a lovely stay. The pool was heated and the slides were still open. Our accommodation was clean and warm, and the staff were lovely and very helpful.

This has been a bad experience so far. Security stopped my five-year-old grandson from eating sweets he'd bought at the camp shop while he was in the club area. On another day, when around 90% of the sunbeds and chairs were empty, pool staff said we couldn't leave to get coffee at the bar beside the pool unless we took all our belongings with us. After more than 20 years visiting Siblu sites, I've never run into such petty rules. Are these Siblu policies, or staff going too far? Maybe we'll choose a different operator next year.

I've been staying at Siblu sites for over 12 years and have never been disappointed by the sites, staff, facilities or entertainment. I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys mobile home camping in France. They also have sites in Spain and the Netherlands, and I have no doubt those are run just as professionally.

The site was clean, good value, and the staff were great both in person and over email. Heated outdoor pools make it a good option in cooler weather, and the location works really well for visits to Royan and elsewhere. If you're coming from the UK, flying to La Rochelle and driving from there is an easy trip.
