We had dinner at the restaurant, choosing the €39 set menu, and it was delicious. Martin, our waiter, was incredibly helpful and knew the menu really well. We were staying in a lovely room on the top floor.

Lunch came with a beautiful view, and the food was excellent quality at a very reasonable price. The staff were all friendly. Service was a little slow, but that seemed understandable on such a hot canicule day. For France, it was okay.

The Sole for 2 was a generous 800 grams or more and prepared just as well as you'd expect. The two sauces, one peppery and one herby, were a lovely surprise and really completed the fish. We’ve been coming back for years because the food is always amazing and the service is great. If you like fresh, seasonal produce, it’s worth the trip. It was a joy to return.

The food was high quality, and the setting was lovely. We weren't told about the daily menu, though it was available, and I waited a long time for dessert. When I asked, the waiter apologized for forgetting it. Those service mistakes are why I can't give five stars.

I arranged lunch for 17 members of my family, and we were treated like kings. The terrace has a fantastic view over the river and park, and the service was perfect.
