We had a smooth booking, and the dining room was lovely, with a superb view. The staff were charming and polite, and there was a wide choice of wines by the glass. Parking nearby was difficult, though, and we waited more than an hour after ordering for the first course, which was served on its own. The meal was a letdown. The sole fillet main course seemed to come straight from the freezer. The original take on floating island dessert was very cold, and its components also seemed frozen. Even the macarons with our coffee were frozen. It left us with mixed feelings, especially for a Logis de France place where the cooking is generally more refined.

The receptionist was friendly, and they welcomed our dog, which was a nice touch. The view is beautiful, and inside the hotel is clean and nicely renovated. The facade could use a facelift, though. The toilet flush had problems, and the shower temperature was all over the place: one day we couldn't get hot water, the next it was scalding. Breakfast was basic and rather bland.

We had a delicious meal in a beautiful room, with a lovely view of the Rhône. The restaurant itself is super beautiful. Everything was perfect.

The room was decent, and dinner was very good. The location right on the banks of the Rhône was fantastic. But there was no hot water for the shower in the morning, so I had to wash quickly with cold water. The hotel offered no compensation. It was better under the previous owners.

The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view, but the room is much smaller than it looks, and hygiene was lacking. The restaurant is expensive and not very good.
