The location is hard to beat, with secure direct access to the waterfront and several restaurants only a few minutes' walk away. The pitches are a good size, with plenty of electric points and water taps. There are even seats and paper in the toilets. You can arrive and pitch up when reception is closed, using the available-pitch notice on the door. It's a lovely site, but I'd give it five stars if there were more showers and toilets. It's a busy place, yet only two of each per sex were open.

We had a very nice family camping holiday in our tent. The on-site shop could use a few more essentials, and the shower block might need updating. I had a cold shower a couple of times, and we had to keep holding the button down. Other than that, we had a nice holiday.

The bar shut after midnight almost every night, and the music was extremely loud. Drunk people made a lot of noise at night, so I couldn't sleep. Two weeks here meant two weeks of terrible evenings.

I've been coming here for about 20 years, but not anymore. A lot has changed this year, and there are so many noisy young people around the pool. It doesn't suit older visitors now. What a pity.

A really nice campsite with plenty to do both on site and nearby. The area is great for outdoor sports, so it works well for a running or cycling holiday.
