It's hard to see how this campsite has a five-star rating. I'd give it three at best. The location by the sea and dunes is lovely, with great sunsets, and the site is clean. But the mobile homes are close together, so there isn't much privacy, even though they're clean and amenable. The shop was almost nonexistent, with very little stock, and each morning there was a queue stretching down the street for bread and croissants. I didn't find the pool area inviting. We were glad to use the site as a base for nearby attractions, and the Eurocamp staff were lovely. I won't return here. I'll go back to Chateau de la Foret in St Julien des Landes, which is further inland but much better overall.

A child died in this pool after the girl's hair was sucked into the cleaning filters. Stay away, this place is dangerous. I don't understand how it's still in business. Apparently the people running it don't have children of their own and care only about making money.

We had a lovely stay in our camper with two adults and two dogs. The campsite is right by the sea, and the toilets and shower area were clean and welcoming. The sunset was beautiful! I brought my bike and went for a long, enjoyable ride on the area's nice cycling paths.

Eliot is the best barman, such a nice guy! Nicola was my favourite on the animation team, really entertaining, and Alex is very funny too. Lucas is the best lifeguard, he saved my life! The sea is in a lovely spot, though a little cold in July. It's a beautiful place to visit.

We booked through eurocamp and had caravan F56. It was clean, and the Eurocamp staff were very polite. Our patio stayed out of the wind, though it got no sun late in the afternoon. Bring Speedos, not swimming shorts, which are banned for some unknown reason. I was asked to leave the pool and had to buy Speedos at decathlon. You have to leave your footwear outside the pool area, and the toilets there are filthy. Since you have to walk in barefoot, it feels gross, and then the dirt from your feet gets into the pool. There is one toilet for both sexes, so make sure you go with your child. The sandy beach with a lifeguard is 1200 meters away and worth the walk. Laundry costs 6 euros, and Wi-Fi for three devices for a week is 35 euros. Chadotel reception customer service was average if you don't speak French.
