Cozy Appartment With a Dishwasher and Wonderful sea View

The view was very nice, and the reception staff were friendly. They spoke English, which we found unusual in France, as well as Spanish. The rooms were pretty much what we expected, but there were a few problems. There was no soap or other hygiene items, and we found only one roll of toilet paper. We couldn’t tell whether it had been left by the hotel or the previous guests, so we bought our own at the market and left what remained for whoever came next. The toilet also smelled unpleasant.

The setting is superb, with the beach and walking routes right in front. But the apartment needed more facilities. We were a couple in a flat meant for four, yet there were only four sets of tableware and nothing extra, so we had to wash up between courses. There was no cleaning or wiping equipment at all. We also had to make our own bed when we arrived, and the list of restrictions and obligations didn’t make for a relaxing holiday. The apartments need modernising.

Be careful when booking. The second bedroom, in a two-bedroom place, was really just a cupboard. There was no way to fit a travel cot, despite the website saying otherwise and several emails assuring us it would suit a toddler. Customer service was poor, and they weren’t willing to understand that a two-year-old can’t sleep on a bunk bed in a cupboard. Balancing a carry cot precariously on the bottom bunk wasn’t a reasonable solution. ⚠ Book with caution at this place! ⚠

It’s more like a 1960s retirement home. You can see the ocean, but there’s no beach within walking distance.
