Hôtel de La Côte Sauvage

A clean, comfortable hotel.

We had a lovely three-night stay in a studio at Hotel La Cote Sauvage. The location was quiet, with plenty to do nearby, and the managers were warm and always cheerful. They gave us useful suggestions for bike rides, beaches, places to visit, and spots to eat or have a drink. Renting a bike with a baby trailer was a huge help throughout the trip. The bedding was superb and breakfast excellent. No complaints at all, and I highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed at the start of July, when the hotel was empty, so the hallways were wonderfully quiet. The owner was very friendly, breakfast was generous, and the bedding was so good we wanted to take it home. There's parking, and although the hotel sits a little beyond the city center, it's still near the port, shops, and ferry across town to the main beach. If I return to Les Sables-d'Olonne, I'll stay here again. A very pleasant stay in a peaceful neighborhood, highly recommended.

The hotel is tucked among the narrow streets of the fishermen's quarter, away from the busy docks, and it was a peaceful, pleasant place to stay. The owners like chatting with guests. It's well kept and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, and has everything you need for a nice stay.
