It’s very central. Walk about 500m through the old town quarter and you’re at the beach or the chic restaurant in the fishing port. The place is simple, but everything works. Our room was small with a high ceiling, clean, and had a good bed for two. Reception was very helpful and recommended and booked a restaurant when we asked. Breakfast was basic, but had the essentials.

The hotel is right in the center, and breakfast came with fresh bread and croissants from the bakery. It was a pleasant place, with excellent service from the gentleman, who was very professional.

The hotel is close to everything in the city center, and our room was clean. The young man at reception was welcoming and very kind. We had a fantastic few days here. The toilets work like the ones on planes and trains, as other reviews have mentioned, but it wasn’t a big deal. We highly recommend the place. Booking through their website is easy, you can pay on arrival, and it’s cheaper.

We’d pictured a romantic room for our night away, based on the website photos, but arriving was a real letdown and we nearly left. The room was dark and dreary, with old furniture, and there was still sand in the shower, so the bathroom clearly hadn’t been freshly cleaned. The macerator toilet was awful, especially the unpleasant smell when the lid was left open. Not an experience we’d repeat.
