Breakfast was something we enjoyed, and it was handy having grass nearby to walk the dog. A good place to break up a trip with an overnight stop, though the nearby dinner choices are mostly fast food.

The room seemed clean, but it smelled and had a few marks of glue on it. It faced the motorway, so the noise was an issue. When I asked to move, the receptionist kept checking whether the room was clean; once I got her to understand I meant the noise, she moved me to the other side of the hotel.

I used to stop here for a night or two while travelling from the Netherlands down to the south of France. The hotel is handy for the Lorraine airport, the TGV station and the highways. I like Campanile and Le restaurant, and whenever I stay I eat there for both breakfast and dinner.

That toilet kept making noise as it flushed briefly almost every two minutes, day and night. I reported it at reception during our two-day stay, but they said the cleaning lady wouldn't fix toilets and didn't seem to understand that a repair was needed. Changing rooms wasn't possible. I won't stay at this hotel again when I'm in Pont a Mousson.

You can bring your dog, which is nice. The place is very basic, and you can hear through the thin walls between rooms. Fine if all you need is somewhere to crash for one night.
