The pond was a lovely spot for evening fishing, with the chickens and peacock around too. Bruno was on hand whenever we needed him and really helpful. We spent two weeks at the gite and had a great time. There’s lots to do nearby, though it’s peaceful when you want some quiet. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. Don’t miss Les Machines de I’lle at Nantes.

A little out from Nantes, but I’d happily cycle into town. It feels like a diamond in the rough, with flocks of birds, ducks, a peacock and other assorted birds around. The owner was great, and so was breakfast.
