The location is close to the main train stations and most of the major attractions, though the area felt a bit sketchy. I wouldn’t hang around outside late at night. Even one late afternoon I saw lots of junkies and people fighting. The hostel staff seemed young and a little sassy, but they spoke excellent English and were helpful. The pods were huge and roomy, with curtains, a personal light, and charging points. It felt more like a spacious capsule hotel, and was insulated from outside noise. The shower areas were probably the best I’ve experienced in a hostel; toilets were okay. It didn’t seem especially social, but that was fine since I wasn’t looking for that. I may have been a bit lucky with the room, since there weren’t many other people there.

The lift only reaches level 2, even though some rooms are on the third floor, which was a bit of a drawback. The room was well equipped, and for the very reasonable price I thought it was a great short stay at CALM. Some parts are tired, but in my opinion the cost reflects that. Good location, and I’d recommend it.

It’s a clean, well-equipped hostel in a great spot between the station and main square. There’s space for lockers and chargers, and the kitchen has everything you need. The hostel is in a basement with windows up high, so I can’t really say what it’s like during a heatwave. They also offer breakfast for a price on the ground floor, together with the hotel guests.

I felt really safe during my stay, and the bed was comfortable with good privacy. The hostel is close to the train station and has great facilities, including a large shared kitchen. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

The pastries on arrival were a delightful touch, and our room was great for the price. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and polite, and the rooms were really clean. It’s close to both train stations and only a few minutes’ walk to the town centre. The little side street felt a bit dodgy, though it wasn’t really a problem. All in all, a nice place. Thanks for reading. A reaction and a follow on my profile would be very helpful. 👍❤️
