We stayed here twice while travelling through France, since it’s about an hour from the Tunnel. It’s an older-style Campanile, generally fine, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants with good food, which helped since the restaurant never seemed to open for dinner. Breakfast was adequate, though below the usual Campanile standard. Our room was clean but not spotless. The air conditioning had been taken apart so it couldn’t be used, which was upsetting in 32-degree heat. The toilet flush also worked unpredictably, and there was mold in the shower.

It was easy to find, right by the motorway. But I had a bad stay. The room faced the car park and smelled of stale cigarettes. It was very basic, which might be fine for a night, but it wasn’t somewhere I wanted to take my shoes off to shower. Breakfast was stale and very basic too.

For such a modest price, this was a pleasant surprise. The motel-style rooms were quiet and had modern bathroom facilities. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choices, including fresh baguette, cereal and fruit.

A good hotel for a very reasonable price. It’s much like the other Campanile hotels, and I don’t mean that as a criticism.

I’m usually a fan of Campanile locations, but the air conditioning didn’t work here. The restaurant had run out of steaks, and the salad bar was a real letdown.
