Clarance Hotel Lille

The rooms were clean, attractive, and equipped for a comfortable stay, with air conditioning, a fan, a coffee machine, and water. The hotel is in the center of Lille and is a beautiful place to stay. Noise was the downside. Deliveries woke us at 6am and carried on for about 30-40 minutes. We also thought breakfast was a bit too expensive for the small selection.

The service was amazing, and the staff were lovely. The room was comfortable, and breakfast included sweet bread from the bakers and chefs. The bread was unforgettable. It’s a wonderful hotel in a beautiful city, and I’d love to stay here again on my next visit to Lille. I recommend it.

We loved our stay in this charming hotel in beautiful Lille. The front-of-house staff were the best we’ve ever encountered: friendly, efficient, and so helpful. Thank you, Dylan, Gabriel and David, for all your help 🫶

The check-in was smooth and the service excellent. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the main city square. We were only in Lille for two days. Ask for a room away from rue de la Barre. The noise at night was too much. A party carried on until 2:30am, with loud music and people sitting in the street right below our room. We called reception, and the staff member kindly let us use another, much smaller room temporarily. We were told the hotel couldn’t complain even when it was noisy at 2am. That spare room may not be available if the hotel is full. There’s another issue in hot weather: not all rooms have air conditioning. During the heat wave our room was unbearably hot, even at night, so we had to leave the windows open. That contributed to the noise, though the noise issue would still need attention in cooler months. We were too tired after the night before to eat at the hotel.
