For an overnight stop, the rooms are adequate for basic needs and the staff were wonderful, helpful and kind. The location is excellent, within easy reach of everything, including the Eurostar and Westfield. There is a lift, but first you have to climb a flight of stairs, which could be hard if you aren't able-bodied. Anyone with claustrophobia might want to think twice about using that lift. It seems suited to travellers who are mostly on the move. You get what you pay for.

The one real advantage is how close it is to the station. Otherwise, I wish I'd read the reviews before spending our hard-earned money. It was vastly overpriced and difficult to access with reduced mobility. The entrance has a very steep tiled staircase, which felt treacherous in the rain when we arrived. There's a tiny lift that fits one person and a cabin-sized case, plus narrow corridors and more winding, narrow stairs. Our room was tiny and not particularly clean. We had to ask for enough towels, the light bulb didn't work, and the toilet flushed poorly. Noise from inside and the street kept us from resting, so we started the next day exhausted and cancelled our booking for the return leg.

The corridors' floors were literally dirty, and they didn't even give us shower towels. The toilet door wouldn't close, the paintwork was unfinished and everything was in poor condition. For this level of neglect, I'd say the place is worth only 25-40€ a night. We moved to a different hotel after one night.

The location is convenient, right by the main train station in the city centre, and the staff were very nice. But our room was never cleaned during our four-night stay. It was also quite small, and the lift and stairs shared the same tight space.
