The room was roomy enough for our family of three, and housekeeping did a very good job. It was clean and quiet, and the staff were smiley and helpful. It's near the train station, though the old town and citadel felt a bit far away. There wasn't much shelf space, and we could have used more chairs and a bin. There was only one small bin in the bathroom. The plastic sheet under the bedsheets didn't keep them in place, and didn't help with night sweats either.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the clean, spacious rooms had air conditioning, which was great in the warm weather. We stayed over the August bank holiday weekend and were impressed. It's a short walk from the Eurostar station and about ten minutes from the bars and restaurants. We're already looking forward to coming back soon.

After more than two weeks away from home, changing accommodation and cities every few days, this was the best shower of my whole trip. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I think not having a kettle, tea or coffee facilities, or a small fridge is typical in France, but I did miss them. The staff were happy to lend me a glass, a fork or whatever I needed. Lille train station is conveniently close, no more than ten minutes dragging overpacked bags through the streets. I'd definitely return.

The clean room was what I'd expect from an Ibis three-star hotel, in a good way. The location worked well, just 5-10 minutes from two train stations, and the area seemed fairly safe.

The room was clean and a decent size, and breakfast was a delicious spread. The staff were always around and super helpful. The location was fabulous, within walking distance of almost all the tourist attractions.
