8/10
The apartment was clean by my standards, and the bed was comfortable. The room is fine for a short stay, and the location is ideal. The wifi was nearly useless, with an intermittent signal, so I ended up using mobile data. I'd stay again.

It's more of a basic apartment than a hotel, though close to the center. Our room was very modest and had no curtain on one side near the bathroom. Hot water was limited, so don't take a long shower. We were on part of the top floor, and smoke from people smoking in the rooms came through straight away.

We were kept awake until 3 am by noise in the street, with shouting, swearing, sirens, and loud music. The bedroom window let in a draft, leaving the room cold, and the shower was hanging off the wall. Very disappointing.

No issues.

The owner was friendly and quick to respond, and the apartments had everything we needed. It's a great base for exploring Lille and going out. The only slight downside was that the studio curtains didn't block out the daylight, which was a bit unpleasant in the morning. There can also be some noise if you're sensitive to it, but earplugs sorted that for me. Thanks again for the stay.
