Noella s Suite

We arrived at 5, rue de la Monnaie, Lille, around 10:00-10:05 PM in the rain and cold, with an impatient puppy, but couldn't find the building. After driving around and searching on foot, soaked through, we finally got a message on Booking.com at 10:41 PM saying the accommodation wasn't available and there must have been an error. My friend had planned the Lille weekend for my birthday, and we'd come from Hauts-de-Seine (92) in Île-de-France. I won't go into the mileage and tolls. Instead of a stay at Noella’s Suite from September 30th to October 2nd, 2022, we had a nightmare. A €175 charge had already been taken on September 15th, 2022. I called Ms. Sandra more than 10 times, 13 from my phone and nearly 4 from another, but she didn't answer. The next day I called once from a blocked number and she picked up, then made an excuse about “different platforms.” I reminded her the booking was made September 15, 2022, and €175.52 had been charged for two nights. She said nothing, then repeated the other-platform excuse, even though we'd booked 15 days ahead. Booking handled things professionally and I got a refund, but not for the accommodation we had to find in desperation around 11 p.m. This won't end here. A complaint is underway, and I'm appealing to consumer associations to get reimbursed and, above all, to expose what I see as the dishonesty of this odious woman.
