The bedding was mediocre, the amenities felt low-end, and I wasn’t convinced by the cleanliness. There was only enough hot water for about one and a half showers. The doormat was held on with tape, and we had to leave the bathroom door open to get any heat. Once the novelty of the houseboat wore off, there wasn’t much else to enjoy. I won’t return. I’m disappointed, especially given the poor value for money. For this price, you can get a high-end hotel in the city. 😞

Paying around a hundred euros just to sleep on a barge seems like a choice for someone who really likes profitability ;) The price they ask doesn’t match the service, and certainly not the comfort or cleanliness.

This restored barge is lovely. They’ve done a great job, and we’re lucky to have it.
