The room and bathroom were both spacious, and the staff were so friendly. There was a small kitchenette, two closets, and a coffee machine with different hot drinks. It’s a pleasant hotel in a quiet neighborhood, with private parking available for an extra fee.

For €15 a day, parking seemed very reasonably priced. The hotel is fairly central, about a 15-minute walk to the town centre. Our basic room was clean, with a small kitchen for supermarket food or ready meals. There was free tea and coffee whenever reception was open. Good value for money.

The staff were a real help when the room safe stopped working, and they were extremely friendly throughout. They also spoke excellent English, merci beaucoup. Route L5 makes it easy to find the hotel from the SNCF stations, and it’s close enough to Lille centre to walk when you don’t have luggage.

For a great price, we got a clean, spacious room with everything we needed. The directions for arriving outside reception hours were clear and helpful, and Afaf was friendly and gave us a hand. I’d recommend this place to friends and family. The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is the very small lift. Otherwise, it was perfect.

The welcome from everyone at Residhotel Lille vauban was so warm and pleasant. Virginie, Afaf, Adam, and chafia et Philippes were especially kind, polite, and helpful. They made me feel at home, and leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. Thanks, guys.
