Vvf Villages Nedde

The cottages are a little dated, but they’re clean and functional. We didn’t know VVF resorts and were just stopping by as a couple for one night, yet this remarkable village won us over. Its centre is a medieval castle that had once been abandoned and has since been restored with real taste. The pool wasn’t open yet, but the big park and its beautiful first-category river more than made an impression. The young, energetic team had put on a barbecue for dinner, followed by a fun karaoke evening. We noticed the hiking and cycling suggestions at reception, so we’ll definitely come back.

The location is wonderful, and the staff are all so friendly. The accommodation could do with an update and a few more comforts. Breakfast is plentiful, while dinner can feel a bit light on some evenings, though there’s variety. The dining room layout and the routes to the entrances aren’t very practical. Quentin leads a fantastic entertainment team and is very professional. I highly recommend this VVF for its staff and setting.

We had a wonderful 10 days at the VVF in Nedde. The whole 2025 team was amazing, from the activity leaders and restaurant and reception staff to all the people we saw less often. Thank you so much! The evening entertainment was great, and the accommodation was very clean and functional. The round pool is lovely for adults and children alike. The site itself is fantastic, with a little river below and nature beyond the small bridge, where you can keep watch for local wildlife in the evening. Lake Vassivière is less than 20 minutes away, and there are lots of charming villages to visit nearby, plus beautiful hikes. We highly recommend it 😊. A quick hello to the friends we met there.

The setting is charming and peaceful, and the staff deserve a special mention for being so warm, attentive, and helpful. They really made our stay more enjoyable. The rental was pleasant overall, though a bit dated and not especially comfortable. It could use some updating, and there was no dishwasher.
