B&B HOTEL Montlhéry

The receptionist was so helpful and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean, with a very firm but comfortable double bed and a great shower. We slept quietly and felt refreshed for the drive on to Toulouse. Since we left at 05h30, we missed breakfast. A really good stopover.

Karim is the reason the service deserves five stars. He sorted out the problems we’d caused, helped us find safe parking, and was the friendliest man south of Paris. The rooms aren’t suites, but they’re clean and the area is quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Jos Michel

There was a loud group drinking beer and eating until around 1am, with no regard for anyone else at the hotel. Since nobody was at reception after hours, there was no one to settle them down. In that weather, they could’ve taken their party outside. I’d asked for a quiet room, so that really hurt the stay. A door between reception and the kitchen area and the ground-floor rooms might help. Everything else met my expectations for a budget hotel.

The new breakfast was a lovely surprise. The croissants, salted butter, yoghurt, fresh juice, jam, and tea were all good quality, and I enjoyed the meal much more than I expected. Getting in late was easy thanks to the entrance machine. The room was clean, with a very large bed and a nice TV; the bathroom was fine too. The private parking is handy but quite small, so it may fill up at busy times if you arrive late, and nearby parking is difficult.
