L'Escasse

The children's meals arrived about half an hour before ours, which threw off the timing a bit. It was busy, though, and you can't expect everything to go perfectly every time. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the kids' menu offered plenty of choice and generous portions for the price. We enjoyed a lovely holiday dinner: the côte de boeuf was tender, flavourful, and cooked just right, while the little fried fish were fresh, crisp, and not greasy. There was a good wine selection for different tastes and budgets. Of the places we've tried in the area, this is a very reasonably priced option with good food in a relaxed setting. Worth stopping by if you're nearby. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but since four feels short when reviews seem to be all or nothing these days, I'm going with five.
