Le Fin Bistrot

The room was basic, but it had what we needed for a one-night stay.

The waiter was very pleasant, but I can't recommend this place. At 1:30 p.m., the owner refused us a table when nobody was there. She was extremely unpleasant and showed no politeness at all. She also looked very unkempt. If politeness and friendliness aren't your strengths, maybe it's time to change careers, especially in the restaurant business. I really don't recommend this place.

The servers were the only good part of the meal, showing real professionalism and consistent kindness. The owner, though, hurried us out at payment as if we were a Chronopost parcel. We arrived at 7 p.m. and got a sarcastic “well, you're not late” from her. After waiting 20 minutes alone in the restaurant, we ordered. One dish came out wrong, and the replacement was wrong too. The owner then rushed over like a wrestler and snatched the plate away while a guest was eating, hurting his shoulder as she passed it to the next table. We protested, and finally got the right dish. The rest of the meal had only a few minor things missed. Avoid this restaurant.

The bill came to a very reasonable €62 for two children's menus, a starter, two main courses, a dessert from the menu, two glasses of wine, and two coffees. We had stopped during a site visit, were welcomed warmly, and enjoyed simple food that was very good and nicely presented. We left satisfied and pleasantly surprised.
