La Clef des Champs

For our first bed and breakfast stay, La Clé des Champs was a complete success, and we’d happily return. Valérie is exceptionally kind and gentle, and gave us a warm welcome. The house is inviting, very well cared for and impeccably clean. Our rooms were spotless after every walk, and breakfast was generous, with local and homemade products. We picked this guesthouse almost as a last resort, without really looking at reviews. Location was our main concern, and it turned out to be a lucky choice. The house is close to the Etel estuary, in a quiet area. Valérie was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was impeccable, the bed extremely comfortable, and the breakfasts were so huge I could hardly believe it. We’ll be coming back, and it won’t be by chance. Stéphane and Tetiana.

The dining room and kitchenette were available for us to use during our week there as three couples. Breakfast was beautifully laid out each morning, with a fresh tablecloth to match the cutlery, and those homemade cakes were divine. Valérie was kind and helpful throughout, and the welcome was fantastic. One small suggestion, an extra towel rack in the bathroom would come in handy. Looking forward to seeing you again, Annie

The little kitchenette was a real plus, and we’ll remember this stay. We were welcomed warmly, and the room was spacious, functional and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and generous, with delicious homemade cakes. I highly recommend it.
