Bastide du Pin - Gites

A great place for kids and for a group of several families or friends. We had a wonderful stay at the Bastide du Pin this summer. The house is fully equipped with lots of utensils and appliances, and it’s very well located near the French Riviera. Special thanks to Kees, the landlord, and the housekeeper, who were both kind and helpful. Thanks, folks. Looking forward to another trip there.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Bastide du Pin. The house is gorgeous and in very good condition, with luxurious rooms that have everything needed for a comfortable stay. Céline handled our requests promptly and checked in regularly to see how we were doing. The janitor was professional and friendly. The location is excellent, with many sights a short trip from Lorgues, and the large property gives you a feel for everyday life in Provence. The spacious outdoor area was lovely, especially the olive tree by the veranda. The pool area was roomy and well maintained, with impeccable water quality. There are only a few shaded spots in high summer, though the owner is working on that. We highly recommend the Bastide du Pin for larger groups too. Small studios beside the house can be rented as well, and they’re all in perfect condition.

We had agreed to reserve all the rooms for a family gathering, and accepted the additional requirements the owner set. Then a more lucrative offer came in, and he canceled on us. We had to find alternative accommodation for all the guests. Very disappointing. The owner was unprofessional and unreliable, and I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

We were lucky to stay at la Bastide du Pin this summer with our group of 14 adults and 14 kids. It was an amazing experience, and everything was absolutely perfect!
