We got back yesterday after two relaxing, fun weeks. We stayed in La Galerie, while our relatives were in La Petit Grange. The gîte had everything we needed, the pool was lovely, and Catherine was a wonderful host. She brought us fab cookies both weeks 🙂. It's very peaceful, with fields all around, and we spent loads of time by that fab pool. We also made it to the beach twice, Bordeaux, Saintes, and a local chateaux. We left with happy memories. Nestled among the vineyards, this place felt like a real breath of fresh air. Catherine was welcoming and discreet throughout our stay, and her cooking was a treat. She made the whole visit wonderful. We highly recommend it. See you soon!

After lovely days out in the villages, at the nearby beaches, and in Royan, we spent three restful nights at Catherine's gîte. We booked through Smartbox with breakfast included, and the breakfasts were very generous. The "La Galerie" gîte was clean and had plenty to keep us comfortable: fans, a well-equipped kitchen, a large bed, TV and DVD player with DVDs, a clothes rack, and lots of local activity information. There were games too, including table football, a small pool table for children, and a badminton net and rackets. Catherine was friendly and very discreet, so we could enjoy our privacy. Thanks again, everything was perfect.

I came away from my short stay with lovely memories of Lorignac. The cottage was spacious, quiet, and very clean, a pleasant place to recharge in the countryside not far from the ocean. Catherine was welcoming but discreet, and was so dedicated and kind. Even with the dietary restrictions I have for health reasons, she did everything she could to make the stay enjoyable. I highly recommend her.

We stayed two nights with our two dogs, and they loved it as much as we did. The cottage is a lovely spot for a break with family or friends, and it was peaceful enough for us to really switch off. Catherine gave us a very warm welcome, she's lovely, and the meals were delicious.
