The château was a handy base for visiting vineyards around Provence, including Chateauneuf De Pape, Beaumes de Venise and Ventoux. We were too early for the lavender to be in full bloom, though. Ann and Guido made us feel very welcome, and Guido cooked three tasty courses with wine on the two evenings we ate at the château. We stayed in the Colonel room on the top floor. It was roomy and comfortable, with a view of the pool, though getting up two flights of stairs was part of the deal. The heated pool was lovely, and breakfast was self-service by the pool each morning. We’d just come back from eight wonderful days. A delightful place, run beautifully by its charming hosts.

Chateau Eydoux had the feel of a relaxed house party, with friendly guests and a little touch of style and luxury. The table d'hote was fabulous, with Guido doing the cooking. Many thanks to Ann and Guido, and to our friends there too. Best wishes!

The pool was great, and it was nice to have Belgian beer available. We had a lovely two-night stay at this beautiful Chateau and couldn't fault the place.
