Bastien and Augustin welcomed me so warmly for the day. It’s hard not to feel carried into a quiet, almost timeless place, where everything seems calm and moves at a slower pace. Thank you both.

Books, a kitchenette, and a proper tea room next door are all there for a bit of time to myself. It’s also close to the vast, fairy-filled forests of Sologne. This place is so cute, absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend, or perhaps not at all if you’re in princess mode and want to pamper yourself without anyone bothering you. Of course I recommend it, goodness! And no, I’m not being paid to say this. It’s from the heart, my dear. Kisses!

The Christmas decorations make the charming house feel truly magical, and the hosts are so welcoming. It was a very pleasant Christmas stay. I’ve known Lorris for years, and it’s really revitalizing itself. The outbuildings are still being built but have enormous potential, and I can’t wait to see their progress in a few months. Definitely coming back. See you soon, Augustin and Damien.
