Friendly staff and a good breakfast, though I would have liked eggs. It's a lovely old building in a quiet spot, still close to the city center.

We had a wonderful evening, with excellent service, astonishing food and a wine list with a good selection for everyone. The setting is lovely, dining outside between the river, the sound of the water falling from the mille, and green fields with horses. It's not the cheapest place in Louhans, though that's said. Desserts were the one letdown, below what I'd expect from a place like this.

The menu felt a little limited, but the risotto appetizer was awesome and the sauce with the steak was delicious. The watermill and its surroundings are very nice, and the staff were attentive and lovely.
