The clean pool and simple but perfectly adequate facilities suited us well. What keeps bringing me back to Camping Chez Francis, though, is how Francis and Malou make everyone feel at home. They’re always happy to suggest walks or interesting things to see nearby, and it’s a lovely, peaceful spot for nature lovers and families alike. Malou can show you the rabbits, sheep, and chickens around the property, and you can pick up fresh eggs. Sometimes the owners put on a barbecue with the other guests, and there’s also the chance to join Malou for an evening of stargazing through a telescope. I’ve spent several holidays here and would happily recommend it.

The homemade sourdough bread, jams, and vegetables from Malou’s garden were such a treat. She’s so warm and welcoming, and runs the place on trust, which we really appreciated. We ended up adding three nights to our stay and had no regrets. The clean, cozy tipi felt like a little haven for couples, and I had a wonderful time there. Thanks so much, Malou, for a perfect stay. I highly recommend it, and hope to see you again soon 😉 Léa.

Malou welcomed us so warmly and was very kind. We wish her all the best. We rented a tipi for one night and found it cute, well equipped, quiet, and charming. The upkeep was disappointing, though. Our wooden table was nearly falling apart, and some paving stones around the pool looked loose, so the pool area didn’t feel secure. We wondered if one person was left to take care of everything.
