Côté Lourmarin

We stayed five days and hated to leave. Christine and her mari Pascal were such warm, happy hosts, and their hospitality made the stay feel like much more than a vacation. Their beautifully restored 18th century maison has just two rooms, right in the heart of Lourmarain, and every detail feels carefully chosen, from the Italian shower fixtures to the dining table made from a reclaimed beam in Normandie and the custom pottery used throughout. The comfort and luxury were unparalleled. The B&B’s charm, the traditional French breakfast, and Lourmarain itself were all wonderful too. This hidden gem feels like living the dream, and we’re already planning a return. Merci beaucoup Christine et Pascal! Bises! A couple of practical notes: plan to pay in cash. Parking is free, but you’ll need to park outside the centre ville. Pack light unless you enjoy dragging a giant suitcase over cobblestones.
